This is an ideal platform for learning how PICmicros are programmed and also for project work. This board programs a range of 8, 14, 18, 28 and 40 pin devices from the 12, 16 and 18 series PIC micro ranges. The on-board LED's, switches and displays can be used in CD ROM based courses or with Microchips MPLAB software. The board also has 2 E-Blocks parts (on ports C and D) which makes it compatible with a large range of E-blocks add-ons and sensors
